Walks abound for the nature lover

  • Noosa National Park is located at the opposite end of Hastings Street. Walk the tracks around the rocky headland to Alexandria Bay and further on to Sunshine Beach.
  • There are fine views of the ocean, Noosa North Shore and on a clear day Double Island Point. You may see the local wildlife including Koalas, Goannas and Echidnas. Between June and November Humpback Whales can be glimpsed as they cruise past on their way to and from their northern breeding grounds.
  • Walk or drive to the Lookout on Noosa Hill for views of Noosa, the Hinterland and Noosa North Shore.
  • Drive to Mt Tinbeerwah Lookout where a short walk gives views of Lake Weyba, Noosa and the river, Lakes Cooroibah and Cootharaba and the Great Sandy National Park.
